Online Forum Discussion

Through the active on-line discussion forum, we could be able to exchange the views, share and debate the knowledge derived from the precedent studies as well as to encourage a comprehensive analysis of the underlying conceptual ideas of a building. We have made a group of three and have been selected The Luxor Temple, Egypt by our respective tutor. We decided to answer those questions that are prepared based on our selected buildings so that we could share the knowledges to everyone. We are required to produce some drawings and sketching that could help us in the explaining the details of the buildings. I have responsible on the question number three and four which is the shape, form and functions of the buildings.

Analysis Presentation Board

After our online discussion forum, we decided to do an analysis presentation board based on our selected building. Through the forum, we could get the informations and drawings of the Luxor Temple easily as all the informations have been prepared previously. I have selected and responsible on doing the board of the building plan, elevation, section and significant architectural elements of the Luxor Temple. The building of Luxor Temple is an interesting and mysterious building that have not much informations. Picture above shows the analysis board that I have done which is in manual hand drawn. From this project, I have learnt lot of knowledge of the buildings that I never known before and  it sounds so fresh and interesting.

3D Abstraction Model

In this task we will have to create an abstraction model to communicate our precedent and conceptual analysis of our building which is Luxor Temple, Egypt. Through our discussion with our respective tutor, we decided to do the whole building of the Luxor Temple as our tutor said that the most significant element of this building is the whole building. Howver, we have just do half of it as we have lack of time and we felt that it is better to let people see the inner part of the building. We are then divided our part so that we could complete on time and I have responsible on the column at the front part with the middle entrance by using balsa wood. I am very appreciated and happy to work with my group member even though there is just three of us but we work cooperatively so much and could share our knowledges and experiences each of us in completing this whole project.
