Group picture during the tip in NTU Learning Hub, Singapore
In this project, we decided to create a group of maximum 6 members during the field trip of 3 days 2 nights in Singapore. We have chosen to make analysis based on the building chosen by our lecturer which is the NTU Learning Hub in Singapore. We need to investigate the principles and best features of passive ventilation and shading device strategies of the building chosen. NTU Learning Hub consists a lot of green building features that is environmental friendly. We have took a lot of pictures and get used to ask questions from the instructor during the walk at the NTU Learning Hub to get a proper clear research that related with the building. We get to know how successful the shading device and passive ventilation that achieved a thermal comfort to the environment of the building. After that, we have tried to provide a complete research by using the diagrams of sun path to illustrate the shadows of shading device by using some useful software such as Revit while drawings and pictures explain the effect of passive ventilation that designed for the building which it is using natural ventilation.
