In this project, we have been divided into a group of eight members to access this assignment. We have select two ongoing construction site that located at the Semenyih area which able to demonstrate most of the subject topics covered in the syllabus. The sites that we selected are the lorry factory and another one is a double storey house . During the visit, we have asked a lot of questions about the materials and other from the contractor that guide us to the site. It was an interesting experience that get to learn lots of knowledge about the construction of a building.
I able to identify the different types between the building elements and its construction process, details and materials after the visit to the sites. Specifically, I also able to show and apply the knowledge in the details of the building construction drawing that you are to compile, thereby reflecting your understanding of the construction itself. I also get to understand the sequence and coordination of construction at site. This project allowed us to expose the construction technology/methods responding to site context and demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of construction, material and technology. This also trained us to produce a proper manual of sketches, drawings and detailing relating to the existing construction through the sites.

PROJECT 2: Construction Detail and Specification
The beginning of lecture, we have been briefed that we need to complete two project in the Building Construction 1 subject. In the project 2, we decided to identify and propose three numbers of details for some selected element of the building that designed for the final project of Design Studio II apart from providing the necessary plans, section and elevations. I have chose the roof, superstructure that included the wall, slab and staircase. Joint and connection is also important to be included in the construction details project. The selected details that have chosen must be details of interesting construction solutions and able to understand about your design. Through this project, I have been able to provide a proper knowledge in the details of building which reflect my understanding of the construction itself. Not only that, I also get know the type of materials, construction elements and joints that suitable to be used in my deign. It also make me understand the awareness of how the buildings are developed in response to practical considerations.
