Link above shows the project 1 (group)

The objectives of this project are as follows:
1) To understand the application of management techniques in the control and direction of project resources
2) To understand basic stages of project management and roles of different consultants in the construction industry
3) to understand the use of "success criteria" in evaluating a project

In a group of six, we decided to design and manage a simple construction projects in a way that emphasize COST, QUALITY or TIME with a measurable of success criteria. The group have to create six CCM that will be taken from week 2 till week 7 to conduct the meeting by each of the member on a rotation basis. The project that we need to be designed is based on contena pavilion that placed in the Taylor's University Lakeside Campus that themed as A place for All.

PROJECT 2: DOCUMENTATION OF A MEDIUM-SIZED PROJECT

Link above shows the project 2 (individual)

The objectives of this project are as follows:
1)To understand the application of management techniques in the control and direction of project resources
2)To evaluate the dynamic changes which occur during a project’s life cycle and the nature of a project’s success.
3)To understand the means of evaluating and managing risks that can lead to success and failure in a project’s performance

This project is to document your own Design Studio Project from the point of view of a Project Manager. Document (Written report, annotated visual images) will be in 4 Components in total:
1. Introduction of Project (Identifying clients, stakeholders, objectives and goals)
2. Design Analysis, picking up issues of Design Suitability and Project Viability and specifically related to your design. (Note: This is to be in essay format, schematic diagrams, sketches and drawing where necessary).
3. Risk Analysis, and Maintenance Strategy (to achieve the identified success criteria and project deliverables). This must be in a table format.
4. Success Criteria, WBS, Gantt Chart (showing the measurable success criteria for the overall implementation strategy, analysis of critical paths, floats, plotted against time). This chart will highlight Project Deliverables.
