The task of this project is to design and build two separate paper and wood cube to define a volume of 12”x12”x12” inch space. I have designed the two cubes based on the theme of games which are Tetris and Maze.The cube should be produced with this one material and a fastening system [glue, nails, screw, rope etc.]. On the paper cube, I have selected the mounting board as my material while for wooden cube will be plywood as it is easier to handle and light enough. Picture above shows the two cubes made from paper and wood with the explaination board. Through this project, I have learnt on how to work effectively with a material in line with design requirement.
“Materiality of SPACE: An experiential exploration”
In groups of 5, we have to select a commercial or residential building that have a fun and creative space which allow us to experience and explore most of the building materials that covered in the module. After a discusiion between our members, we decided to choose the 1 Mont Kiara shopping complex as our site visit for this project. 1 Mont Kiara shopping complex have a nice and creative design on the center with the unique roof that is much suitable for our this project which contained a lot of different type of materials.We have taken a lot of pictures on the materials that located at the site buildings.

I am required to do a board based on the Experiential analysis of the Material & Space of a certain place which include Design intention & concept and Space Analysis: Experience within the space. The board should Include some pictures and diagrams to support on your analysis towards the space. I have selected Nando's restaurant as my individual site place as it have a lot of creative and interesting design that use many different materials. Through this project, I have understand the effects of building materials on aesthetics and structural qualities of a space or building, the appropriateness of material used in context several factorsoccupancy, concept, climate and the application or installation of material as finish and structural material
